How to Order:

For leather items, call or e-mail and describe what you have in mind. We will correspond until we both understand one another. You then send me the funds or call me your credit card info (see below) and I will place your order next in line to be built.

For gunstock carving, call or e-mail and we will discuss what you want and agree upon the price.  I will give you instructions about how to send me the stock.

Talking it Over:

Don't hesitate to contact me with your questions and ideas. I will be glad to take the time to talk to you about what you might want done, and what is possible and not possible to do in leather and in wood.

Things like the kind of wood your stock is made of and the present condition of the stock, are things we need to discuss.

Ideas about what you would like done in leather is another subject we should discuss. I am always ready to add another "pattern" to my collection of custom gunleather, so we should get together and see what we can design.

Leather work and gunstock carving are both something I take artistic pride in. None of this is "entry level" workmanship! I guarantee you will be able to take pride in the ownership of any product I produce.

Time to Completion: When you contact me to place an order I will give you an approximate determination of the time it will take to complete your order. This approximate date is just that. Some projects take longer than I anticipate. Time to completion depends largely on how many, and the complexity of orders which are in front of yours. I run a “one man fully custom operation,” do the work myself, and take the time to make yours and every others order a personalized project that we both can be proud of. Sometimes it takes longer than I hoped, but I pledge that I will not get in a hurry and I will not take shortcuts that will degrade the quality of your rig.

Size Determination:
Always measure the circumference of exactly where you plan to wear the gunbelt... over the kind of clothes you will be wearing with the rig.  Please click here to see the explanation near the bottom on the index page.

I do not usually charge extra if you are a large person and need a large (long) belt, unless it is well beyond 50 inches.  Then, only if I have to special order a piece of leather, I will only charge you what that piece of leather costs me in addition to what it would normally cost.

Satisfaction Guarantee: When you receive your order, examine it closely. If there is a problem let me know immediately. I pledge to do all I can to make it right.  Unlike a large retail store with dozens of nearly identical rigs hanging on the wall, from which you hope to find a rig that fits, everything I build is a "one of a kind," built for one individual, to his / her specifications, much as you might commission an artist to do your portrait.  I have probably never built two rigs the same style, color, tooling, and size.  I offer a wide variety of custom styles, colors, and tooling... at  a very reasonable price.  And I do my best to accommodate your ideas. Your size, your style, your color choice, made to fit your weapons.  To keep in stock a variety of styles, sizes, and colors, and tooling combinations would be impractical.  Therefore, I cannot give a cash refund and return anything to "stock," as there is no "stock."  If there is any kind of problem, I will strive to fix it.  And if the "problem" occurred because I built the wrong size, or wrong style, etc., I obviously will replace that item, and put your project at the head of the line to get it out to you ASAP.

Custom Leather Pricing Guide

Please read:  Throughout the web site you will see individual holsters and completed custom rigs (holsters and belts with various combinations of tooling, cartridge loops and conchos, etc.).  Some of these examples of complete rigs might be shown with a price for that particular combination.  However, the variables are so great, and material costs continue to rise (and even I sometimes make mistakes). Therefore, the only way to determine the current correct price of your custom order is to add the individual components you want on your rig.  For this reason each element of the rig is priced separately, and shown below, so that you may custom design your own combination and compute the price based on the individual features you want. Like everything else, the cost of leather and supplies continue to rise, and I have no choice but, from time to time, to adjust the price of these items.

Double Rigs
Throughout the web site, several completed double rigs are shown, and I might have even given "names" and prices to some of these combinations.  But please order these rigs by their individual components, specifying the tooling, number of cartridge loops, etc... (not by the descriptive names I may have given the rig), since each rig is unique.  Truth to tell, I have probably never built any two rigs alike.

In an effort to keep shipping costs down and delivery prompt and certain, I ship "Priority Mail," by the United States Postal Service, with confirmation of delivery. If you want insurance on your shipment, please tell me at the time of your order.  Foreign shipping is determined by individual requirements.

Pricing of custom carving / engraving

Each gunstock is unique. The total price for carving your stock depends on several things: The type of wood, the condition of the stock, exactly what you want, and where you want it. These are things we must discuss in order to accurately quote you a price. These carvings are durable. The firearm is still a tool you can use, but now you can also show it off as a piece of art. And when we finish a stock, it has become a work of art!   It will be a valuable heirloom to pass on to your heirs,  not just another fine firearm in your gun case.
